Trainee Account Receivable Officer

We are looking for a highly motivated Trainee Accounts Receivable Officer who is proactive, analytical, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This role requires a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for accuracy and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with Finance, Customer Success Consultants, Sales Agents, and outsourced teams to ensure seamless billing operations, revenue protection, and customer retention.
The Trainee Account Receivables Officer plays a crucial role in managing customer billing interactions, resolving queries, monitoring account performance, and supporting revenue growth. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer accounts, overseeing collections follow-ups, managing service adjustments, and ensuring all customer requests are resolved within SLA.
Your work will directly contribute to revenue retention, customer satisfaction, and overall business growth.
Responsibilities
- Collections Oversight & Payment Follow-Up
- Review daily age analysis reports and flag overdue accounts (30+ days).
- Customer Account Reconciliations : Verify all customer payments for accuracy and completeness.
- Billing-Related Customer Query Management : Respond to and resolve billing queries, disputes, and payment concerns within SLA.
- Revenue Growth & Package Management : Track usage patterns to identify opportunities and maintain accurate records.
- Customer Account Management : Maintain strong relationships through proactive engagement. Monitor churn indicators and act to retain at-risk customers.
- Provide monthly reports on retention, satisfaction, and account health.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant billing or accounts experience (attachments count)
- Outstanding attention to detail and analytical ability
- Highly autonomous with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
