The GPEN21 is a smart power injector that serves as an advanced software controlled repeater. Not only can it power your uplink devices via PoE, it can also provide a range of useful software features:

• Interface management and monitoring

• GPEN link fault detection

• VLAN support

• SNMP reporting

• Basic traffic shaping

GPEN21 has an Ethernet and SFP port for fiber connectivity. Customers can choose to use GPEN21 to power optical module for uplink to provider, or to provide PoE to power Ethernet uplink to provider (that uses our GPeR and/or netPower products) The GPEN unit can be securely attached to a wall or the communications cabinet. The Ethernet cable can be routed either directly through its bottom cable opening or into the wall, as preferred.

The GPEN11 is a power injector that can be mounted on a wall, and will power your uplink devices with PoE power. The GPEN11 is part of the GPEN (Gigabit Passive Ethernet Network) concept, which aims to replace GPON installations with lower cost and more easy to deploy ethernet alternative.

It also has a designated space for an ISP sticker on the front. Sticker size: 6,6 x 2,54 cm.

Powering a bunch of access points or IP cameras and a few uplinks on a tower has never been easier. netPower 16P has 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE-out and two SFP+ ports for 10G fiber uplinks.

Its sturdy and compact outdoor enclosure allows the switch to be mounted in all kinds of environments – from damp attics and shafts to towers, masts and poles with hose clamps.

netPower 16P has a non-blocking throughput of 36 Gbps, switching capacity of 72 Gbps and forwarding rate of 53.6 Mpps.

Device itself does not have an onboard voltage converter. You need 24V PSU to have 24V PoE out and/or 48V PSU to have 48V PoE out (IEEE 802.3 at/af).

This advanced diagnostic tool for optical fibres allows the Fibre Engineer to take a snapshot of a fibre link.The OTDR sends short pulses of light down one end of a fibre at a specified repetition rate.Light reflected back from fibre discontinuities and light continuously back scattered from the fibre itself travels back to the OTDR, where the instrument records the optical power and arrival time.The arrival time of the pulse from a given point in the fibre is related to its distance from the OTDR.With this information, the OTDR graphically displays returned power versus distance.OTDRs are well-equipped for troubleshooting problems because they allow you to visually locate reflective events like connections and fibre breaks and non-reflective events like splices and tight bends by studying the graphical trace. The power difference between two points on the trace is an estimate of optical loss.
